Privacy policy

The short version
We collect what we need to cut your grass well and bill you correctly — nothing more. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it to retarget you across the internet. When you stop being a customer, we keep only what we have to keep for tax and dispute purposes and delete the rest.
What we collect
- Contact details — the name, email, and phone number you give us at signup or in the customer portal.
- Your address — both to service your property and to pull your lot size from county parcel records.
- Yard photos — the photos you upload at intake and the before-and-after photos our crew takes during each visit.
- Access notes — gate codes, pet information, and any property-specific instructions you share with us.
- Payment info — handled entirely by our payments processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data — basic analytics about how you use the app (which pages you visit, which buttons you tap). We use this to improve the product. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To quote your custom price and schedule your service.
- To dispatch our crew with the right access information.
- To send you receipts, service-day reminders, and before-and-after photos.
- To process payments, handle refunds, and answer support questions.
- To improve our pricing model and service quality over time — always from aggregated or de-identified data.
Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers that help us run the business, and only the information they need. These include:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Regrid — county parcel records lookup (we share only your address, and only at your request).
- Google Places / Mapbox — address autocomplete and route mapping.
- Resend / Telnyx — transactional email and SMS delivery.
- Cloudflare R2 — encrypted photo storage.
We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use it to build a profile about you for purposes unrelated to servicing your lawn.
How long we keep it
While you're a customer, we keep everything needed to run your account. When you cancel, we delete most of your data within 30 days. We keep a minimal record of billing and tax information for seven years, as Florida and federal tax law require. You can ask us to delete photos sooner if you want.
Your rights
- Access — you can request a copy of the data we have about you.
- Correct — you can update anything inaccurate in the customer portal or by emailing us.
- Delete — you can ask us to delete your data (subject to the tax-record exception above).
- Opt out— service texts and emails are required while you're a customer. Marketing emails (if we ever send any) always include a one-click unsubscribe.

Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our vendors (Stripe, Neon, Cloudflare R2) that maintain industry-standard security controls. No system is perfect — if we ever have a breach that involves your information, we'll notify you promptly.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top and email active customers about any meaningful changes before they take effect.
